Budapest training school

3-7 November 2025

The Budapest training week hosted by MOME is a programme of the CoDesign4Transitions doctoral network that brings together doctoral candidates (DCs) and supervisors from eight universities in seven countries as well as partner institutions who carry out original research in relation to three research objectives, at the intersection of co-design, design for sustainability, service and systems design, democratic innovation and climate transitions.

The Budapest training week hosted by MOME is part of an extensive, research-based training and development. The session will focus on topics related to researcher development and practice, data analysis in transdisciplinary research, prototyping as research, climate transitions, systems innovation, democratic co-production, democratic innovation delivered by participating network members, like AAU, Chora Foundation, Climate-KIC, Democratic Society, MOME and VUB. The event will give an opportunity to discuss the research progress of the DCs.

It is expected that the DCs will have an energetic and productive week and will have a chance to interact with around 40 colleagues from the network.
