Bio

Luina Dantas is pursuing her doctoral studies at SWPS University of Design and Social Sciences in Warsaw, Poland. Before becoming part of the CoDesign4Transitions network, she built her career as an architect and urban planner working within public institutions and academia throughout Brazil and the United Kingdom.

Her professional background includes serving as Assistant Pro-Dean of Infrastructure at the State University of ParaĆ­ba, where she spearheaded the creation of cutting-edge digital systems and managed infrastructure initiatives, as well as working as Director of Urban Control for Campina Grande’s municipal government, overseeing subdivision development and urban planning guidance.

Her international expertise was further developed through specialised internships in Glasgow, focusing on sustainable circular economy approaches at SWG3 Cultural Venue and carbon footprint analysis for transportation infrastructure projects at Sustrans.

Her academic foundation includes a Erasmus Joint Master’s in Sustainable Urban Environments from Glasgow Caledonian University (UK), LAB University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and University of Huelva (Spain); a Bachelor’s in Architecture and Urban Planning from UFPB (Brazil), complemented by specialized training in Building Information Modelling and Project Management.
