Bio
Daniele Dell’Orto is a junior researcher with a background in communication design. He holds a Master of Science from Politecnico di Milano, where he specialised in information visualisation and interaction design. His thesis investigated the climate crisis representations made by weather platforms worldwide, and their impacts on people’s perception.
He also took part in the 2022 Digital Methods Initiative summer school, working on a project titled “According to Google Images: Visual epistemologies of climate change and biodiversity loss”. His current research in the CoD4Transitions network is focused on data visualisation as a knowledge co-creation and decision making tool for climate assemblies.
