The DCS will be trained, supported equipped and empowered to develop new theories, approaches, and validated prototypes for action. Secondments are to allow the DCs to quickly develop through immersion and participant observation in depth understanding of a specialist domain, access to leading people, and their projects and partners and activities including through in person visits and joining via digital channels.

The candidates must not already hold a PhD. The candidates must not have resided or carried out her/his main activity (work, studies etc.) in the selected country for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to recruitment (i.e., first day of employment). There is no restriction on nationality.
